Numerous general, local and individual considerations have an impact on the final treatment outcome. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of etiologic and pathogenic, anatomic and developmental, surgical and prosthetic, patient- and parent-centered factors must be considered to obtain predictable and long-term results.
