He is Past-President (2013-2014) of the American Academy of Periodontology, was President of the Northeast Society of Periodontics (1995) and is also active in the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Froum lectures internationally, has written more than100 articles for peer-reviewed journals and contributed to numerous academic books.
