She received her DDS from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, MD and PhD and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at UCLA. Prof. Aghaloo has been an ITI Fellow since 2014 and was a member of the ITI Research Committee (2015-2023) as well as a member at large of the ITI Board of Directors (2021 - 2023). Her main research areas include hard and soft tissue regeneration, implant dentistry, and osteonecrosis of the jaws.
